How to Turn Your Natural Creativity into Something Wonderful...

“Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That’s because they were able to connect experiences they’ve had and synthesize new things.” ~ Steve Jobs

Turning Your Natural Creativity into a Powerful Edge…

How to Turn Your Natural Creativity into Something Wonderful...Without question, your natural creativity is your MOST important asset and is responsible for everything good in your life.

The simple fact is, everyone, is NATURALLY CREATIVE… but most people (over 90%) are not using their most basic gifts and talents…

So they unwittingly work AGAINST themselves rather than put their innate creativity to work FOR them.

People have the wrong impression on what it means to be creative.

People think it is others who are naturally creative and don’t realize they too have an inner-creative genius driving their imagination.

How do we know this?

We did an interesting survey a few months back to see where people currently stand.

What people are interested in is…

  • How to create something from nothing (just from your imagination)—the genius which is already within you…
  • How to bring your fantasies, whims, fleeting thoughts, ideas, hopes, and dreams into the real world where real people can enjoy the fruits of your labor…
  • How to create something spectacular in your life—a new TV show… maybe a new book… a hot new business… awesome client and family relationships—something you KNOW are at the back of your mind, but yet, you can’t quite seem to pull it out and get it moving forward…
  • Why it’s vital to view our creativity as much of a “basic need” as eating and sleeping…
  • Why it’s vital to be crazy enough to believe you have the right to dream…

“Creativity is a great motivator because it makes people interested in what they are doing. Creativity gives hope that there can be a worthwhile idea. Creativity gives the possibility of some sort of achievement to everyone. Creativity makes life more fun and more interesting.” ~ Edward de Bono

Now, my observation and suggestion.

One of the big blocks to unlocking your natural creativity is CONFUSION.

Confusion kills creativity.

Confused people become conflicted people, and conflicted people tend to sit and wait, worry and fret.

Conflicted people procrastinate, getting few results with their precious time.

Ultimately, creativity is all about the 4 C’s of success:

√ Absolute CLARITY of your Vision, Values and the Roles you will play to live your Values and achieve your Vision…

√ Absolute CONVICTION that what you are doing is the RIGHT thing to be doing…

√ Absolute COMMITMENT to achieving the vision…

√ And the COURAGE to take BOLD ACTION to realize their dreams.

Maybe it’s time to take a courageous look at your someday dreams again.

If you already have Success On Purpose, take an hour or so to just complete the Vision exercise in Chapter 6. It’s time to get creative about your possibilities and potentialities.
