Smarten Up… Toughen Up… Play to WIN

“To me, football is so much about mental toughness, it’s digging deep, it’s doing whatever you need to do to help a team win and that comes in a lot of shapes and forms.” ~ Tom Brady

An amazing thing happens when you stop to THINK!

Which, of course, is the whole point of The Time Prism… a tool that simply asks you to Turn On… Tune In… and Turn Up your performance.

By getting you to stop for a moment… take a breath… and THINK!

I assume you want to be more successful.

Why else would you be reading this?

So, take a moment to stop the chatter in your head, click the above play button, and focus your thoughts on this one characteristic of exceptional personal and professional success: Mental Toughness.

As the video emphasizes, “Mind Strength Determines The Quality of Your Life.”

Believe it.

Mental toughness presents itself differently in different people.

Some think of it as grit…

Others see it as resolve…

Maybe you think of it as resilience.

I personally love this definition gleaned from the online dictionary…

“Mental toughness is the ability to resist, manage and overcome doubts, worries, concerns, and circumstances that prevent you from succeeding, or excelling at a task or towards an objective or a performance outcome that you set out to achieve.”

We see this as the hallmark of personal and professional excellence… the result of your unconditional commitment to becoming the best you can possibly be… and then… stepping it up a notch or two higher!

It’s how all winners win. They certainly do not play the game to lose.

This means leaving nothing to chance.

So, my advice is simply this.

Look at your current level of success and decide if that is enough to make you happy. If it is, great, do more of that.

If not, look at your current level of personal performance and vow to keep your TQ in the 80-90 range.

Move faster in the direction of your dreams.

This is the foundation of Mental Toughness.

If most are weak and faded, 5-6-7, you have a Mental Toughness decision.

Do you really want to WIN? Is there enough of what you want for you to pay the price?

If so, smarten up, toughen up, and play to win.

There is no “other” other way.
