“Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don’t wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it’s at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored.” ~ Earl Nightingale
An inner-emotion of pure joy…
The achievement of a major challenge…
Or simply just doing more of what comes naturally to you.
Most people would agree that happiness is up to the individual to define.
“You’ll know it when you see it”, kind of thing.
So, what makes YOU happy and are you happy now?
Over the years we have found that there is, in fact, a key — a starting point for a life of happiness, satisfaction, and significance.
It comes down to 3 simple variables — all of which are in your control right now.
Align these 3 variables correctly, and you will live the life of your dreams.
You will be happy.
Fail to understand them, you will suffer a life of could have been… should have been… and deep regrets.
You will not be happy.
Again, take 60 seconds to stop what you are doing, take a deep breath, and THINK.
Can you honestly say that you are happy with your life… the people in it… your career… your lifestyle… and the direction you are heading?
Not just one element, ALL.
Not a yes maybe, but a hardline YES or NO.
Do not try to justify your answer.
Do not rationalize in this moment of reflection.
Take one minute to arrive at a simple YES or NO answer.
If the answer is not a resounding YES, the question becomes, “What will you do about it?”
Change starts with the belief that change is first possible and that it will be worthwhile.
If you do not believe you are entitled to happiness… or believe that the status quo is the best you can hope for… you will remain stranded on the sea of time.
If you truly WANT to see your inner-child come out and play… to live in that child-like wonder… you can.
Take a long weekend to do and discover… to listen and learn.
We created Success On Purpose to help people find their way back to the love of their life, to create an engine of meaning, significance and yes…
