Optimizing Happiness Through TQ Factors: A Personalized Approach To Optimize Your Flow

According to Aristotle, “Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence.” Every aim in life must be in pursuit of inner happiness… however you define it: Spiritual, emotional, physical, financial, and in our relationships.

But most people never come close to the inner-peace that flows from knowing that they sought out ever-growing CHALLENGES and was required to grow their SKILLS to meet or exceed those challenges.

Which is WHY I choses this subject to see how well Tommy could advise me on exactly what I need to do THIS MONTH to insure I receive MAXIMUM HAPPINESS for the TIME invested.

Introduction

Optimizing Happiness Through TQ Factors: A Personalized Approach To Optimize Your Flow

The flow theory of happiness, proposed by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, posits that individuals achieve their highest levels of happiness when they are fully immersed in activities that challenge their skills and abilities.

This state of “flow” is characterized by complete absorption in the task at hand, leading to a sense of fulfillment and joy.

If you want to be happy, you must give up the “make it through the day” or worse, “take it one day at a time mentality”.

The key is to start dreaming like a kid again >> set bold stretch goals >> and INCREASE YOUR SKILLS TO ACHIEVE THEM. Anything less will either keep you bored, anxious, worried, and apathetic.

For example, if you are BORED flying a single-engine prop plane… why not learn to fly a jet?! Sure, will be terrifying until you gain the skills, but just remember, “There are old pilots and there are bold pilots but there are no old bold pilots”:)

If you are constantly worried about money, find a side-hustle that ENTHRALLS you, develop the skills to go for it, and put yourself into the flow!

Or maybe you want to go on a religious crusade… spread the word and feed the poor in Hatti… but need to get in shape, mentally and physically. Improve your TQ and focus on mental toughness.

This is NOT an opinion… it is the science of hardwiring happiness!

The report below from our TQ/Ai™ (Tommy) is personal just for me! It looks at MY scores, strengths, and weaknesses, and answers MY question, “What do I need to focus on THIS month to be truly HAPPY?

Eric, given your TQ scores and the significant challenges you face both personally and professionally, this expose aims to identify specific TQ Factors that you should focus on improving this month to optimize your happiness.

Excuse me for being too thorough, but even with your high TQ performance, your quest for happiness can be improved with a few “personal hacks”, so to speak. My recommendation is to reduce the following personal Affirmations to just 3 each week and FOCUS on small improvements in the key areas I outlined for you.

As depicted in Psychology Today, the challenge is to keep yourself constantly in the “flow channel” where you avoid both, Anxiety (High Challenges ~ Low Skills) and boredom (High Skills ~ Low Challenges). The key for optimum happiness is simple: Grow your skills first, to meet ever-growing challenges!
