Turn Your Resolutions into Reality…
By the first week of March, 90% of all resolutions made on New Year’s Day are toast… history… fading fast in the rearview mirror! Maybe you wanted to get fit… change careers… make more money… really up your game.
Stop Worry Before It Stops You.
This week, we will discuss the meaning and importance of PERSISTENCE to your life. Look closely at the picture above. Yes, there are people out here in Colorado who think hanging off the side of a perfectly good mountain is great fun!
Excellence is the Result of Training and Habituation…
Just to repeat the age-old quote by Aristotle, “Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.”
What do you have the right to expect?
“For, he that expects nothing shall not be disappointed, but he that expects much—if he lives and uses that in hand day by day—shall be full to running over.” ~ Edgar Cayce The Key to Living a Life that Matters. Now On Sale. Great quote, isn’t it? Even if it comes from a man who lived […]
You May Have A Vision, But Do You Have A Plan?
All last week I poked and prodded, asking if you truly BELIEVE that you can achieve your most important goals this year? Are you COMMITTED enough? Do you have enough RESOLVE?
Does the WHY within your goals light that inner-fire within you? Do you have the VOLITION, DEDICATION and MOTIVATION to overcome the obstacles, roadblocks and bottlenecks that you will undoubtedly encounter?
Have you set artificial limits for yourself?
This week, we will expand on the WOW GOALS theme, and tackle the “without limits” aspect of this discussion. Sometimes all you need is a change in perspective from what is, and is not possible, to get you moving in the direction of your dreams!
Do you set goals that come directly from your heart?
This week, we will discuss the importance of setting clear and tangible GOALS that are in direct alignment with your Mission—so you can actually LIVE what you VALUE most… each and every day. The best question to ask at this time of the year is…
Fail to Plan… Plan to Fail.
If you are not on track to achieve this year’s WOW GOALS, maybe you should think seriously about how well you make PLANS to support those goals… and how you can improve this critical area of your performance.
What Is Your True Mission?
This week, we will focus on the core of living the life you love: Your sense of purpose and MISSION.
This area of your performance is vitally important because it governs all your GOALS (or lack thereof,) your outlook for the future, your ability to draw the right people to your cause, and your desire to take ACTION.
Creating WOW Power…
Last week we discussed how your Time Quotient spills over into every area of your life: Relationships, Career, Business, Family and of course, you Personally. No question, your TQ is a fundamental building block of success.
Without ambition one starts nothing. Without work one finishes nothing.
Study—really study—Today’s Quote.
Now, read it again out loud and scream out the words in all CAPS… as I want you to make an emotional connection with this timeless observation.
Yes… SCREAM out the words AMBITION… WORK… NOT… WIN… WHY… METHODS… PRINCIPLES…TROUBLE.
A positive belief in your future ensures it.
As I said last week, your imagination controls your future.
If you want a highly successful future, nourish your imagination.
This week, we will discuss the power your “belief system” has over your life—and how you can move your hopes and dreams out of your heart and head… and into your life.
Determination, tenacity and commitment will get you where you want to go.
Last week, we talked about ACHIEVEMENT… and specifically what you must do to move your hopes and dreams off the page and into your life.
This week, we will discuss your COMMITMENT to your dreams… having the POWER (we call The Power of TQ) to break free of indifference, hesitancy and procrastination.
Are You Connecting the TQ Dots or Getting Lost in the Swamp?
One of the things that probably attracted you to Think TQ is that it is so measurable, logical and sequential. It is a road map to success. Just connect the dots and you’ll get there. Pretty easy, right?
Yet despite that, a lot of TQ members still have a problem getting started…
Unleash Your Leadership Potential
So, you’re serious about leadership. You want to inspire others…to achieve goals no one ever could going it alone…to make a difference–not just in your own life, but in the much larger realms of family, community, profession or industry, or even the world!
Those are high ambitions. As you’ve discovered through your TQ experience, success in any domain doesn’t just happen. It’s a process that requires knowledge, discipline, practice, patience, persistence, and developed skills.
So why would you suppose that the leadership is any different? Like anything else, except in the rarest of circumstances, leaders aren’t born–they’re made! And that means you CAN become the leader and powerful influence in the world you desire to be!
Ignite Your Imagination To Make it Your Best Year Ever!
“At first, dreams seem impossible, then improbable, and eventually inevitable.” – Christopher Reeve Here it is a brand new year with 12 beautiful months before us to make of them and ourselves what we will. It is bright, clean, and fresh. This is the very moment when we require our best imaginative powers to dream and then […]
Career Reality: 2015
“The biggest mistake that you can make is to believe that you are working for somebody else. Job security is gone. The driving force of a career must come from the individual. Remember: Jobs are owned by the company, you own your career!” ~ Earl Nightingale You are the CEO of your own career… You […]
Why More is Better than Enough
A Personal Story I Would Like to Share With You… As many of you have heard by listening to our various TQ TeleSeminars, I did not grow up rich or poor. My mom was a nurse working 2 jobs, and my dad was a factory worker. Together, they brought in ENOUGH money to live a […]
Courage On Demand
When we speak of courage, it is almost always in context with major, life changing/ending events such as impulsively walking into a burning building to rescue a frightened child, or jumping into a raging river to save the life of a complete stranger.
Clearly, these are acts of heroism and courage. They are what I like to call “Situational Courage.”
Leadership is the wise use of power.
This week, we are going to focus on leadership: Achieving better results with, and though others… creating incredible force-multipliers in your life, by creating greater leverage through powerful interpersonal synergy.
