Goals: The Confluence Between Dreams, Desires & Beliefs
There are many popular definitions of the word GOAL.
Most define it as a dream with a date… we define it as a dream with a deadline.
The deadline implies a commitment to both the dream and the time it will take to achieve it.
A better definition might be that goals represent the confluence between Desirability and Believability.
It is the recognition that it takes BOTH to create a goal that will ultimately be achieved.

My Hope For Me…
A Success Habit?
I made it a habit years ago to ruthlessly limit my exposure to junk, fake and useless news to just 30 minutes a day.
That is more than enough time to get a global perspective on what’s going on, process what is being said, and form an opinion.
Think about this.
There are only 1,440 minutes in a day (24 hours x 60 minutes).
Subtract 440 for sleep, rest, and downtime — you have 1,000 prime minutes to make all your dreams real.

What is the Purpose of America?
What is the PURPOSE of this great country we call AMERICA? How do our individual Values, Visions and Roles triangulate into a mission that gives our collective purpose true meaning and significance?
Purpose is the definitive statement of the difference one is trying to make in the world. Ultimately, it is your fundamental calling to make the world different, not to just make a slight difference.
To paraphrase Aristotle, where your talents and the needs of the world cross, there lies your purpose.
Hope is the companion of power, and mother of success.
At the exact halfway point in the year, I find it useful to look back to see what I have accomplished—and look forward to see what I hope to accomplish before the year runs its course.
In a way, this turning-point is a critical juncture in reaffirming that what I say I want, is indeed what I intend to spend my working days pursuing—and if I have the power necessary to transform my hopes into tangible results.
The sad truth is that opportunity doesn’t knock twice.
I have built my entire life around seizing ever-growing opportunities.
I have yet to hear even ONE knock on my door — or whack me upside my head.
Opportunities behave quite differently from what we have been trained to expect.
You must have POWERFUL LENSES with which to see and sense them.
