“The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.” ~ Vince Lombardi

A Truth For Which There are No Exceptions…

There is a huge difference between people who succeed, and those who don’t.

Successful people THINK differently.

Successful people ACT differently.

ThinkTQGR_3D_lgWhen we wrote ThinkTQ and Grow Rich, we detailed the science behind the core differences between people who actually LIVE their dreams… and those who simply wish and wait for them to materialize out of thin air.

The “real” of it is that successful people have far MORE positives and far FEWER negatives driving their performance at every point in time.

It’s not that they think more positive thoughts.

It’s that they take more positive actions that put the characteristics of success into play each day.

The HOW is simple. They keep their TQ Scores in the high 80-90 range.

You can too.

Proof?

Consider the single most successful person you know. Not a person you have heard about, but a man or woman you personally KNOW and consider a truly successful person—by however you measure success: money, power, compassion, service, freedom, etc.

Print this Thin Line Chart and circle all the positive and negative words below. Use these words to describe your exemplar.

Now, do the same thing for someone you know who is really struggling to make the grade. Maybe even look at yourself in this quick review. Instead of circling the words, check mark them so you can clearly see success and failure up close and personal.

Now, look at the RESULTS…

How many MORE positives does the successful person have than the struggler? _______

How many MORE negatives does the struggler have when compared to the most successful person you know?_______

We have found that, on average, the successful person has between 3-5 TIMES the number of positives than the struggler… and that the person who is failing to make it has 3-5 TIMES the number of negatives than the successful person!

PoTQ_REV3_3DwCD_MedSo, where do these words come from?

Ultimately, they are the simple reflection of the actions you take and the choices you make on a daily basis.

Make smarter choices and take smarter actions, your performance is filled with words like ENERGETIC… PASSIONATE… OPTIMISTIC… FOCUSED… and ACTION ORIENTED.

Fail to transform performance negatives into positives and you are seen as DRAINED… AIMLESS… VAGUE… RASH… UNFOCUSED… ETC.

If you want to achieve true and lasting success, then get started by learning how to walk the SMART side of the thin line!
