There are many popular definitions of the word GOAL.
Most define it as a dream with a date… we define it as a dream with a deadline.
The deadline implies a commitment to both the dream and the time it will take to achieve it.
A better definition might be that goals represent the confluence between Desirability and Believability.
It is the recognition that it takes BOTH to create a goal that will ultimately be achieved.
Two-thirds of the businesses started in the last two years will not be here in 2020. You can WIN, but you must PLAN to win… then PLAY to win.
No sports team would ever win a single game if they didn’t do BOTH. The game of business is a professional sport played with real money… real people… real hopes and dreams.
Ignore the reality, you will not make it.
I made it a habit years ago to ruthlessly limit my exposure to junk, fake and useless news to just 30 minutes a day.
That is more than enough time to get a global perspective on what’s going on, process what is being said, and form an opinion.
Think about this.
There are only 1,440 minutes in a day (24 hours x 60 minutes).
Subtract 440 for sleep, rest, and downtime — you have 1,000 prime minutes to make all your dreams real.
“Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate the love of God and family and to create memories that will last forever. Jesus is God’s perfect, indescribable gift. The amazing thing is that not only are we able to receive this gift, but we are able to share it with others on Christmas and every other day of the year.” ~ Joel Osteen
“My Christmas wish for you is for you to become all you are meant to be. It is also my challenge to you. FACT: Become the best version of yourself possible, and all your hopes and dreams will be realized… because you are never given a dream without also being given the power to realize it. But, you may have to work a lot smarter than ever before.” ~ E. R. Haas, CEO
“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”~ Steve Jobs
If you love great sci-fi, there is nothing more appealing than walking through a stargate to galaxies beyond our own.

Our journey through time is like that.
One moment we are young and have an entire life ahead, and the next, we are facing the inevitability of our demise.

What Does Success Look Like to You?
Some people see lots of travel, long walks on the beaches or thrilling hikes in the mountains.
Others see a beautiful home, a garage full of cars, and the time to work on them.
Yet others see relationships as their measure of success. What have they given to the people they love the most?
Regardless of how you see it, you see it in your own mind’s eye. No one can tell you if what you want is right for you or not.
Come the first of the year (just 60 days away,) millions of people will take out pen and pad and declare the new year… MY YEAR!
By the end of February however, the vast majority (over 80%) of these hopes, dreams and lofty aspirations will be swept to the curb as we get on with the job of living our lives.
